Project summary:

• Performance comparisons among various channel (spectrum) detection for wireless ad hoc network and cognitive radio network(CRN)

• Propose a new channel detection scheme for energy-efficient CSMA-based wireless network and evaluate performance of the proposed scheme by theoretic analysis and computer simulations (including MIMO system such as IEEE 802.11n)

• Prototype the proposed scheme, validate the performance, and develop commercialization technology
